Abstract
The purpose of this study was to find out the causes of patient¢¥s bypassing local medical services for use of health services and to reestablish the rationalization of medical care services.
This study was analyzed by multiple logistic regression, major findings as follows;
The unequal distribution of medical resources in each health service district causes serious problems, especially
comparing the small towns and rural areas having the high probability(about 7 times) with metropolis in bypassing
medical facilities in their districts.
Implication of these findings have been discussed in conjunction with the way in which regional self-sufficiency of medical services is asked for establishing the resources allocation in health policy including the sociodemographic and patient¢¥s morbidity characteristics.
